2. 教育部101學年度將試辦鼓勵成人就讀大學方案，只要年滿22歲、工作滿4年，或修習40學分以上的教育課程，就可申請大學入學，學校可設計選才方式，不需要經過學測、指考或統測。教育部表示，將由私立大學校院先試辦，5月初辦理大學校院宣導說明會，6月底前完成學校申請計畫審查。
The program to encourage adults to attend colleges held by Ministry of Education in academic year 101st will allow application of universities from people who have been over twenty-two years old, had working experiences over four years or taken forty or more educational credits. Each school can design the way of selection without holding examinations. MOE says private colleges will hold the program first. A seminar for the program in universities will take place in the beginning of May, and the examination of application will be completed before the end of June.
3. 總統馬英九昨天（3）來到內政部中區兒童之家，致贈加菜金及兒童節禮物給小朋友，馬總統看到兒童之家的空間和設備都有適當的安排，感到很欣慰。總統說，兒童是國家未來的希望，因此內政部將兒童節訂為國定假日，他希望往後少子化的趨勢可以減緩。

4. 美國的研究報告指出，菸品中有超過7000種化學物質，其中好幾百種成分有毒性，大約70種成分會致癌，國內醫師表示，新生兒每分鐘呼吸速率比成人高，如果瀰漫在二手菸環境，相對會吸入更多菸，再加上孩子免疫系統還沒發展完全，孩子罹患呼吸道疾病的機率會增高。
The report of research in U.S appoints that over seven thousand kinds of chemical materials in cigarette products which includes hundreds of toxic elements. Among the materials, about seventy kinds of elements would lead to cancer. The internal doctors consider that neonates will absorb more cigarette if they are placed in a second-hand smoke because they have higher respiratory rate. In addition to immature immune system, they may easily get infected by diseases of respiratory tract.
5. 不管是登山客還是廟裡的法師，都抱怨高雄壽山猴患的問題。為了避免人猴衝突不斷，高雄市農業局訓練一支登山志工沿路宣導，呼籲民眾不要餵食猴子；登山宣導志工涂清賢表示，雖然市府一再宣導，不過有些遊客根本不理會，認為猴子可愛就餵食，他呼籲遊客遵守規範，否則猴子搶食的情形會更加嚴重。

6. 臺北市勞工局查察去年各大免費網路平臺、人力銀行網頁及報紙徵才廣告，總共檢視1650件，發現涉及就業歧視105件，又以性別、年齡占最高比例。臺北市勞工局長陳業鑫呼籲，各大免費網路刊登平臺、人力銀行網頁及報紙，應該就廠商徵才廣告，善盡宣導防制就業歧視觀念以及負監督責任。
Council of Labor Affairs processed the investigations of one thousand six hundred and fifty commercials toward some cost-free on-line platforms, websites of human resource, and talents-soliciting advertisements last year. One hundred and five of them were found to be related to working discriminations. Among the issues, sex and age took the most part of the whole percentage. Director of the Department of Labor 陳業鑫 reminded that the free-charged job opening platforms, websites of human resource and newspapers should take responsibility for promoting prevention of working discrimination and relevant inspection.
7. 大陸科學家研發可以生產人奶的乳牛。中國農業大學教授李寧表示，他們把人類基因移轉給乳牛，目前有300頭可以生產人奶的乳牛；李寧說，乳牛產的人奶營養跟真人奶幾乎一樣，但是產量多很多，他估計，乳牛產的母乳，十年之內可以大量上市。
The research of scientists in mainland China finds the cow with producing human milk . Professor of China of Agricultural University 李寧 says the researchers transfer human's gene to the cow. So far three hundred of cows can produce milk which is really like human' one. The nutrition of the cow's milk is almost the same as the one of human's, but the amount of production is much more that it. He evaluates the cow's milk will become available in the market for a great deal of production.
